Live a Little is a short film that follows a 75 year old woman named Hillary who is coping with the loss of her husband. In a moment of stress and confusion, Hillary breaks into the home of Molly, a fellow resident in her senior living community. This leads them both on a journey searching for connection in their twilight years. The film explores the depressive existentialism that seniors go through losing a life partner and insists that life can be thrilling and meaningful in our later years. It is a queer romance that explores the themes of love, loss and memory through a senior lens.
